  • Seem's like i had one very similar, I spent a long time trying to identify it, I showed it to a dealer once who said it was a Talisman. something to do with religion and the occult. Either to ward of evil spirit's or to bring good fortune. I wouldn't know where to tell you to look, Sometime's, You can google it under image's using the keyword Talisman, or Talisman Coin...............Hope it help's, ozzysdad.......image

    With more than 60 years between me and my last Hebrew lesson, and the poor reproduction of the characters in your photos, I'm afraid I can't make out any of the text. image

    It's definitely not an Israeli coin, however.

    I have done some research with friends that are into Qaballah and this is what I have come up with so far:


    "the more I look at it the more it makes me think of a fake Solomon's Pentacle; there are mistakes in the letters used on the back

    The front one depicts the 2nd Seal of Mars , from the Clavicula Solomonis, a manual allegedly belonged to Solomon the King. The talisman was used to be applied to injured parts for faster healing"

    Found some more.

    Rosenblum's November 2005 mail bid sale:

    *1121 Amulet. 1980's-90's? Silvered 39mm. Christian, probably modern. Blundered legend in the from of an acronym that is deciphered "one principle of His unity, one beginning of His Individuality"/2nd Seal of Mars, from the key of Solomon. VF.
