Grade my grey and darkside newps!!

Some of you saw my thread from earlier in the week about some UK and canada stuff I bought, well here are some good pics of 'em. The 1884 canada 10c looks better than in the seller's pics and I think it has a shot at XF40. The image is set up in such a way that the detail is easier to see. VERY tough photographing a coin this small! I nearly stole this first one.

Still has luster!! Not sure if it would make UNC or not. I need to get a loupe.

1884 5c VF. Not enough detail on the reverse for EF. Trend value of C$500. Increases to C$1200 in EF.

1884 5 CENTS- Likely VF 35. It could 40 if there is real lustre on both sides and it could then be argued that the coin is a weak strike.

1885 6d- I like this one and from the image, I would grade in the AU55 - 58 range

    1875 1/2 Crown- a nice coin... likely an EF40 or 45.

I would submit the 1884 5 CENTS to PCGS or NGC

I have to agree with the vf not ef. I just got back from ngc an 1896 Newfoundland 20 cent with small 96 that graded out vf30. Your obverse is better than that but the reverse does not have the detail. Nice coin anyway.

Here's another pic of the obverse, I think you can get a better idea of the detail. Does this change anyone's grade?
