Need Advice on Purchase of Magnifying Glass

I'm looking to buy a magnifying glass of some sort that's powerful enough to detect the flaws that PSA sees in their grading process. How powerful do I need? Where can I purchase it? Approximate cost? Any advice would be appreciated and thanks in advance for your reply!

The magnifying glass would be used primarily at home.

Mine is able to be placed on a desk and is ONLY 5x maginification. I think I bought it on ebay the box says made by SE 5x eyesight protective lighted magnifier
