Memoribilia for the losing team in a Super Bowl or Game 7.

Has anyone ever seen anything such as a "championship" hat or shirt that made it out the back door of the losing team in a Super Bowl or a game 7? Obviously they have to make the hats and shirts for both teams and I've always wondered if any survived (as they probably try to destroy them immediately).

The closest thing I've seen is a Budweiser poster for the "1985 World Series Champion St.Louis Cardinals".

the NFL sends the losers gear to Africa, so the poverty stricken have something to wear.....i found a blog about this on the net right after this year's Super Bowl, it was a highly charged topic

of course, i find it particularly satisfying, that, as a Chicago Bears fan, i can take heart in the fact that an entire continent may right at this very moment think that they are THE WORLDS CHAMPS!! image

Some smart African kid out there could make a killing by exporting the stuff back to the US.

    If this was true.

I remember reading in a mid-1990s Beckett spotlighting a Cubs collector who has a Cubs 1984 World Series pennant. I wonder what that sort of "memobilia that never should've been" genre would be.
