1975 BB size variance? Trimmed?

My fellow collectors...

I recieved notice on my submission on my 1975 cards that the grader (BTW, how do we know which grader it is?) thought there was evidence of trimming. I bought this as a set in 1975/1976 and they have been in the box ever since. I was expecting/hoping for 9's (dare I dream of 10's) but evidence of trimming never entered my mind. I have read where several issues have had size variances in production. Has anybody had experience with this happening with the 75's? I compared several of the other cards I was going to send in and I don't see any difference. I am assuming the the card is smaller than the standard size. Do I need a buy a caliper and measure?

1975s can come skinny. Especially vending cards. I know of someone who had a large vending inventory and couldn't get the 1975's graded because they were all min-size. This is further proof at least some of the graders can't tell the difference between a trimmed and undersize card. You're cards are likely below the min size requirement. You can measure them and see if they are shorter than standard size. It's usually the width that comes up short.

The Green/Yellow cards are often short as well. Mike Schimdt is often undersized.

Ah crap...I held a couple up against another year and it looks maybe 1/32" shy. What is the minimum size?

    Thanks
