What's the Blue Chip POP for a gem mint? It could be a 1 of 1.
#LetsGoSwitzerlandThe Man Who Does Not Read Has No Advantage Over the Man Who Cannot Read. The biggest obstacle to progress is a habit of “buying what we want and begging for what we need.”You get the Freedom you fight for and get the Oppression you deserve.
What would happen if you lost the the little cardboard thingy ? Would you just have a card that had been glued in a snap tite case ? With no proof that Blueball grading had certified it.
Here is what a Google search reveals about Blue-Chip. It appear to be some marketing gimmick through Shop At Home. Wouldn't you love to see Don West swimming in those cards?
BTW, that detached certificate is a work of genius. I'm sure WIWAG wished they'd had used those instead of PSA cards so that they'd still be in business today.
I think it is going to be quite a while before you can actually call them "competition"
It would be a cold day in hell before I submitted anything of mine to an unknown company .
What prevents a place like this from pulling the old switcho - changeo with your stuff anyway and is there any way to prove you actually submitted anything ?
I found this funny in the most recent article from the previous post....
"Advanced Grading Specialists has been grading sports cards since May. It has already graded over 500,000 cards and is currently grading over 7,500 per week. "
My buddy submited cards to GAI, 5 days later I do and receive my invoice # 40 numbers higher. Wow 7,500 per week for AGS. Congrats AGS. All those 2000 Pacific inserts deserve a 10 on them by someone.
I have to admit this card looks better than a lot of cards we see in other "out of the trunk of your car" grading companies. At least the darn thing is centered.

<< <i>Also note it's only the 8th card ever graded by this company. Nice! >>
I wonder what their set registry looks like????
