I'm on Day 41 and the suspense is killing Me!

I'm on Day 41 for the March $5 special. I should see grades by the middle of next week at the latest! The wait is killing me since this is one of my best subs in terms of quality! My sub is 40 1971 topps baseball coins that were absolutely "gorgeous"..... pack fresh as they say! I can't wait to see those grades pop!!! Anyone else getting close?

I've heard it said that the nature of disappointment is to expect one thing and get another. Last year I had a large coin submission with the "best " 3rd party coin graders , who we all know but must never speak or think badly of, that not only lost my submission for 18 days but damaged 1/3 of the order as well. I was crushed to the point where I sold off almost everyone , except one , of the coins that I owned. I will never use them again, but have just begun collecting coins again, so maybe the pain is starting to heal.

I hope that the wait and anticipation is overmatched by the grades that you finally receive. I've had a number of orders that exceeded my feeble mind's expectation. GOOD LUCK!!!

My cards left my hands on 3/10...Logged in 4/5... I couldn't have cared less the first month or so, now I'm dying.

A little trick I've tried a couple of times that seems to have worked for me to get orders entered ASAP...

If you have a big bulk submission, submit it in a box with another order at a higher rate. Even if you only submit 2 cards on the other form at a higher rate, you can then label the box as "5-day turnaround" or whatever it's called, rather than the box saying "Modern Bulk" which probably goes to the back of the line. Once they open your box with the higher service level, they'll enter both at the same time. It may cost you a couple of bucks extra to submit those few cards for a higher service level, but you'll get everything entered and begin the process quicker.

It's worked for me the 2-3 times I've done it, and I've had grades entered immediately. Maybe that's a thought to try in the future!
