This is just a quick note about the Free Vouchers PSA gives out for completing at least 75% of your Registered Set. I emailed PSA as soon as I completed one of my sets, and I received my voucher in less than 5 days. They rock!!

The acomidated my request when I hit 75% on my Marichal and McCovey basic sets. I haven't gotten around to using the vouchers yet.

I have a question on the Free vouchers. I have numerous sets that are at 75% or higher Non Sport, most not registered yet (Why is a different story for a different thread) but I do have one now a 1967 Garrison's Gorillas that is a 72 card set and I am at 84%. So I just sent my e-mail from the above link to get the request form. My question is when I get this does it have to be a seperate submission totally, if so the return charge for one or two free cards would be basically the same as just including it in one of my submission lots of 50 or 100. Or can you include it and not incur the extra shipping charges?
Thanks
Neil

Exactly! This is why you wait until you have a few sets >75% and request them all on one form. I just got two submission forms from Cosetta for my sets. 29 cards in all. Just remember, the cards you submit have to be submitted at the same time and they have to be cards from the specific sets. I ended up giving away 3 spots on my forms so I could get them sent off because, out of the 400+ cards I have waiting to go to PSA, I didn't have any that matched up to 3 of my sets and I wanted to get it out the door. Checked in today as a matter of fact. No guaranteed turnaround time on them but the others I've done took @ 7 days. I'm not holding my breath on this one though.
Good luck with your stuff.

The one I got was my Ripken Rookie set which has only three cards in it, so I'm at 100% and I got one free submission for it. I'm sending in another Topps rookie, so it is from that set.

what do they do with cards that have to be PSA/DNA and graded. say the laserview football cards or the 97 UD Legends Autos?? Do you really get a free PSA/DNA and grading for reaching 75% or not?
anyone know the answers??

radke, I imagine they would keep track of those kind if shenanigans, but good try though As for the graded PSA/DNA, I imagine since they're actually graded too, that they would count toward the final percentage.
<< <i>envoy98, thanks! That's sweet that they would combine it like that!

i didnt mean to imply that it would be shenanigans. right now the favre master set has over 1200 cards. I am around 27%. Overall there are around 6000 different favres. Since he is still playing and more cards are being graded that havent been before, that means that there will be additions to the set. Now lets say I submitt enough cards that are currently listed to get to 75%. I therefore get a voucher. Now what happens if someone requests more cards, my % drops below 75%. I add more cards, and go past 75% again. Now what??
Also I think there should be more freebies for sets that are huge. Just think if at some point this set gets past 3000 cards and someone is at 75%. I think they deserve more freebies then they would get at present.

As for a PSA/DNA submission, I don't think it qualifies. I would imagine it is only valid for a regular grading and I think there is a $500 limiit as well, but I've never tested that boundary.

I've got a 75% voucher to submit..can anyone tell me what service level I should write on the outside of the box? Also, what kinda of turn around time do the vouchers realize? Thanks.

I am collecting a 1975 Topps mini set and I'm not quite to 75% yet overall, but I have surpassed 75% on probably a dozen of the team sets. If I sent PSA an e-mail and asked for my free vouchers for the team sets would I be getting 12 different submission forms and then have to pay return shipping for all 12? Or do I just ask for them to all be combined on one form? Would PSA balk at requesting my team set vouchers and my player set vouchers being submitted all at once?
Thanks guys!

<< <i>Can anyone tell me if you can combine different size cards for this type of submission? Tallboys mixed in with regular size cards.

I hit 75% on '72 Topps and '71 Topps Supers at the same time and PSA sent me a combined invoice for for both (5 free '72's and 2 free '71 Supers). Total Shipping was around $12.50. After they received my submission, PSA called me and told me I couldn't combine supers with standard cards and made me pay an additional $12.50 for shipping. The '72's were graded in about a week, the '71 Supers took almost 3 months.
