Get his phone number and call him.
There are too many reasons why he wouldn't be responding to emails to assume the reason is he's not a good businessman.
Email is the absolute bane of communication.

I agree with Mark. I dislike the reliance on e-mail. For example, my e-mail at the office has a filter that dumps spam into a special folder that gets purged nightly. The problem is that non-spam e-mails are frequently classified as a spam by the program. Thus, I always tell clients that if you do not get a response from me, assume that I did not get it rather then I just haven't responded. Another example is that I just realized that there is a spam folder on my aol e-mail (personal e-mails). I went there and found many non-spam e-mails.
