Why are Card Savers 1 so hard to load?????

I just submitted some cards for the first time and man was it ever hard to get the card down inside the saver. I tried with a sleeve and without a sleeve......about the same TOUGH. The cards would go about 80 percent in and stop, the last thing you want to do is force it. Am i missing something? Is there a secret i should know? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Try opening the card loader before inserting... give it somehwhat of a strecth with your fingers. I also take like 25 - 30 at a time and flex them back and forth to get the stiffness out of them. Those things can stress you out, especially when inserting $$ cards. Hope that helps.

I believe the best way would be to cut a sturdy piece of cardboard a tad larger than a typical card - insert and remove just once or twice. You don't want to loosen the card saver too much, but this will "break the seal", so to speak.

Take the card saver and hold it with your left hand and open with your index finger on your left hand. Hold the card with your right thumb on the front and index finger on the back about 1/4 of the way down from the top middle. Then guide the card straight down into the holder with your index finger still on the back until you get the card all the way in.

Cardsavers are mini paper shredders... I have good luck inserting halfway with a common on top, to prevent the sharp holder edge from damaging the good cards' edge/corners.

When you're done, remove your finger from the hole.

If you are REALLY paranoid, cut the right edge off. Slip card into gaping holder with ease. Take paper and fold over open right edge. Tape over paper. Pack tightly.

I have only submitted a few cards but I took a razor blade down the very edge of the right side of the CSI and then slid the card in from the side. Then I put a piece of tape down the edge to reseal it. I figured graders would be smart enough to cut the other side to remove the card. I was nervous about putting Jordan Fleer rookies into CSIs so this is what I came up with.

Just don't forget to cuddle with it for at least a moment afterwards if you plan on getting in there again image

I realize most of this is common sense. However, like the man said, you just dont want to shove your Jordan Fleer rookie in there. Thanks for the ideas.

if you push on the sides of the card saver, it will open, I have never had trouble getting a card inside, just work it in gently while pushing on the sides to open the holder.
