Collector of 1976 Topps baseball for some stupid reason.
Collector of Pittsburgh Pirates cards for a slightly less stupid reason.

Tough call, as there are some awesome cards in this set, but I'm going to have to go with this one:

These cards posted so far bring back real fond memories of that set. My own personal favorite was Ed Cosby #457. It was a really colorful card of a "sub". It seem that the card was out of focus , but for some bizzarre reason it was one of my favorites. As stated too many times before , if I knew how to post it I surely would , so I will thank in advance , if someone knows how. --- Sonny

wow!!!! thanks for posting that Bevacqua card!!! i never knew there was one! Garagiola said after Kurt's big homerun in game 2 of the 1984 world series that prior to that he'd only been know for being the bubblegum blowing champ!!! hated him then, but love him now!!!!!!!! i even have a game used jersey of his from that year complete with the RAK insignia!!!! KURT- WHERE ARE YOU NOW?!?!?!?!?

Why does Musnon always look like he's about to start a barfight?

These are some nice cards, aren't they? I have the full set, but unfortunately it was overgraded (advertised as NRMT/MT but is more like EX-EXMT at best) and I need to buy another one to cherry pick from the two soon, and then hopefully get $100-$120 back from selling the weaker set. Then I just need to upgrade some commons from the 1977, 1978, 1979 sets and they'll be fantastic! image

'76 does have some sweet cards. I still like it better than the over-hyped, in my opinion, '75 set.

That I will have to respectfully disagree. 1975 is still the best design-wise, though 1976 is a nice colorful set too.

    Such a tough call.

I, too, will lean toward '76.

75 is a design of the time period, kind of how the 72s were, IMO. But the 76s and 77s are just kind of a classic baseball card design, IMHO.

I'd never seen the one of The Rem Dog. It's cool.

Love that card of The Sarge.

I've alwys liked the epic quality that the Reggie card has, and I've always thought it was interesting how much the card of Piniella reminds me of the Rose card. Very similar.
