Koufax signs with UDA

I guess Koufax's old contract with UD must have expired....

I'm not a collector of UDA stuff but i'm curious to see that this stuff will look like (and to see what the prices points look like)

Legendary Dodger Pitcher Sandy Koufax Signs Exclusive Autograph & Memorabilia Deal With Upper Deck

Carlsbad, CA – (May 14, 2007) – Upper Deck Authenticated (UDA) announced an exclusive partnership with MLB Hall of Famer Sandy Koufax that provides the company with exclusive autographed memorabilia for fans – available now – and collectors representing the player’s legendary career. Additionally, Sandy Koufax will also be included in Upper Deck’s super premium baseball card brands such as UD Premier Baseball.

UDA will produce limited autographed baseballs, authentic MLB pitching rubbers, signed replicas of the 1963 Sports Illustrated cover of Koufax, framed photos including a dual signed photo with Nolan Ryan and several unique high-end shadow box display pieces.

    what type of contract does he have , is it just to sign the limited items like inserts. I have never seen his signatures for sale from anyone like upper deck before, not that I would by one.

    I just got this a few weeks ago for my daughter.

    That's a great piece Pack. Can the framing (or matting) be changed to allow all of the words to show instead of having some of them cut off?

    I plan to , this was the only matte I had lying around so I just used it , i will get a larger matte next time I go to Michaels

    I really enjoy the UDA film strips ... I have a Griffey and now looks like I'll be on the lookout for a Koufax. The price on the UD site for one is 999.99. OUCH. Some cheaper ones on the Bay but still more than I want to pay

    I believe Koufax had an exclusive contract with Donruss for autographed BB card inserts. Upper Deck is now picking him up since Donruss is no longer licensed by MLB.

    I also collect the UDA film strips. I have the Gretzky, Dr. J, (2) Montana's & (2) J. Rice's.
