INAUGURATA II ----- the Prequel to the June 28th Anniversary of QV's Ascension

Dust off your numismatic library, book your vacation spots with hi-speed wireless access if you may be away ..... STUDY, STUDY, STUDY!!!!!!

The medal that inspired this Giveaway!!!

Well, it's not really a GIVEAWAY!!! You have to earn it!! Are you a worthy Numis-scribe? Three top prizes.

The inaugural INAUGURATA was conducted with me using a lowly dialup connection. I'm now percolating with broadband cable to better respond to your rapid answers..........

For the uninformed, you can use the "search" function to get a flavour of the original. Query "inaugurata" for the TITLE, and "MacCrimmon" as the AUTHOR, and you will see what transpired (you must also select ARCHIVED MESSAGES). I'm starting to compile the list of questions, etc., and sometime towards the end of June we will commence. If you want a shot at IMMORTALITY.......BE THERE!!!!!!

Is that a bottle of Crown Royal or Chaumburg (SP)? in her right hand? Stunning pics and medal! I am still dealing with dial up and hate it, each of those pics took me over 5 minutes each to view... I hope this is not a fast and furious question and answer quiz, my brain is slow enough and then add in the dial up connection and I start second guessing my answer before it is even half way sent on its way... Speaking of which, what is in her left hand?

    In the words of Queen Victoria . . . . .

Looks like she switched the Crown Roy--, erm, orb to her right hand for the photo-op. image

I'll reduce the image file sizes as much as possible for the contest, but 70-80% of the questions will be textual in nature.

No need to trouble yourself with making up all those tedious questions. Just send the prizes to the first three respondants to this thread.

QV doesn't think it proper to celebrate her coronation anniversary before it's time. After all, a good Scotsman doesn't celebrate Hogmany on Halloween image

Now, go 'ave a wee tipple and study up. image

    Prost!

Why step over the dollar to get to the cent? Because it's a 55DDO.
