What you've got there is a coin from the Italian State of Lombardy-Venetia. It has an Austrian-style eagle on it because Lombardy-Venetia became part of the Austrian Empire after Napoleon's fall. You'll note that the abbreviations on the coin are in Italian, though.

Now, to find a match for your coin... hmm... gimme a sec...

(edited to fix my typo misspelling of "Napoleon".)

I have one of these sitting right nearby. Same date as yours, even: 1862-B. Mine is a teeny bit better than yours, but not much... it is spooky how close they were. Mine was left over from my "Dollar Sale" in February and it got put in that binder lot I just auctioned off in the Weekly Swap. It will be on its way to Marcel (ZARcoins) soon.

The coin is: Italian States (Lombardy-Venetia): 1 soldo, KM/C# 35.2. Struck in copper. Mintage: 8,971,000. Cats $2.00 F, $4.50 VF, $9.00 XF, $20.00 UNC, per the Fourth Edition.

I would call yours barely fine. I called mine Fine but it had some old scratches, like yours does, so I considered it a $1.00 to $1.50 coin. Yours is worth maybe a buck.

Edit: Aha. I see Strikeout beat me to it.
