I consider those to be exclusively lightside. They say USA all over them image

The link above is the best history of the Darkside available. Future historians will despair because the forums we use now were only put in place on 23 February 2001. There were PCGS forums prior to that, and there was a darkside in that primordial swamp, but alas it is forever lost to the digital oblivion...

    ...or is it??? image

Askari, BigAlan Sumnom, and Mr.Paseo...man they are old around here! If only Askari would come back to us!! I have his email around somewhere.

So was the CoinGeezer post the first use of Darkside? I see the ancient style may have been Dark Side.

    Thanks for that post image

<< <i>But then, the Flame-Wars began in the Liteside and many brave and true collectors were scorched and singed and wounded – yea, even to their very souls – from battles waged through legions and factions of legions of trolls. Weary of these tiresome, never-ending conflicts, many left the Liteside, seeking solace beyond the Pale of Lite ... and finding, to their surprise and joy, Endarkenment amongst the hearty, hale-fellow-well-met souls collecting world coins, ancients, and banknotes. >>

    Hmm . . .

Askari was a master. Really miss the guy. He has (had?) a great collection of German coins.

First time I read/heard the darkside term (outside of Star Wars) was in 2001 on GlockTalk referring to switching over to GLOCKs from the more traditional non-polymer pistols. image
