89 F Rack bust and opinions needed

I bought 2 rack cases from Higbees. Sealed and clean. No Bill Ripkens on top or in the one box I opened

But I pulled this one with the insert showing. Usually on bottom of stack. I pulled a Clemens one awhile back and sold for $10. Now I wish I kept.


The Johnson, Sheffield, Gaetti showing is neat. I will sell it but.......

value ? -$20 ??

send to GAI to slab before selling? cost $25+

Sorry to hear you didn't get any Ripkens : ( ..... that seems a little odd. The rack with the Gibson insert on top probably won't bring much, but that rack with the Sheff and Unit would be worth $20 at least I'd think! I'd have to admit, paying $25 to have it encased is salty... I somehow doubt it's value would double even if it graded a 10.... but maybe. Probably end up being a wash. If you're willing to sell that rack, I'd be interested... hope you do well!

... oh and don't forget to save those racks with Sabo on top! I'd be all over those!
