I do not see any way to buy that card with the idea of reselling it rapidly at a profit.
Whoever buys it will likely want to add it to their long-term collection.
As recently as mid-2006, it was still possible to buy "expensive" cards on EBAY and flip them quickly. I am just not seeing anymore of those opportunities.

Did O-Pee-Chee's card cutting process in 1972 (and other 70's years!) seem to favor hockey cards?
There seems to be so many more beautifully cut Hockey OPC's from 1972, and it seems, so many more rough cut Baseball OPC's from 1972
Am I right? Or are there just such a huge number of beautiful OPC Hockey "sheet cuts", that PSA just goes ahead and grades them???
Here is an example (I know the 72' Orr card is a smaller scan, but I think we can still see a much smoother cut than on my OPC Jackson card, no? I've added another scan of some 1972 OPC Hockey cards, to further illustrate my concerns.

It's not just you. I don't like it either when people use past sales...it's amaturish and obnoxious.

That's the way the Brits and the Canucks spell it.
