Well I didn't even get my 5 day submission grades in time (GRADES POSTED - Blech)

Due today...and nothing. So what is it, one grade per day up to the number of gradings you submitted?

3 cards, $13/5 day service. Wank.

Seriously PSA, I'm losing faith....

the log in day doesn't count, nor does the day the grades pop. Have there been 5 business days in between?

    5/2. 5 days was today.

    5/3, 5/6, 5/7, 5/8, 5/9.

I've always gotten my grades back on the 5th business day. So they owe me a whopping 1 grade, which I won't even bother to redeem.

Doesn't the "National Show" in Toronto last weekend nullify the turn-around time guarantee? I do believe PSA was there... I could be wrong.

    *Guaranteed Turnaround Times (Cards Only)

PSA guarantees the turnaround times for clearly marked packages. PSA’s turnaround guarantee assures you that PSA will have grades available in the number of business days specified. For example, for Premium (Same Day),Walk-Through (Same Day), Super Express (2 Day), Express (5 Day), Regular (10 Day), PSA will have grades available the following number of days after the day our receiving department processes your order. The number of days it takes for the delivery agency (U.S. Registered Mail) to return graded cards/tickets to the submitter is not included in the number of days alloted to PSA’s turnaround guarantee. If PSA fails to meet the turnaround guarantee on paid submissions, you will receive a grading voucher equal to the number of days your order was delayed (not to exceed the total number of items). For example, if your order of 3 cards has a guaranteed turnaround time of 10 business days but was completed in 13 business days, you will receive 3 grading vouchers for the same service level; this excludes grading specials and complimentary submissions.
Guarantees are invalid during the weeks of major card shows PSA attends. Note: Available services and turnaround times are subject to change. Visit our website at www.psacard.com or call us for a complete list of available services and current show schedule.

Oh god, I hope not. I'm very familiar with the "we're aren't responsible for turnaround times when we're gone at a show"

This is getting worse by the day.

In their defense, they at least got this one checked in fast. My last sub took more than 3 weeks to log in.

As long as I see the grades before the end of the registry deadline, then whatever. Still pi$$es me off.

Oh of course...they were at the Sports Expo in Toronto...so 5/3 and 5/4 probably don't count.

    Lame

The $13/5 day CC Special is not guaranteed ...

$13 per card - No Minimum Quantity Required.
    5 Business Days (approx.)

    Turnaround time varies with demand.

Look on the bright side-- another couple days will pass before you experience the nutcrushing disappointment that always occasions the posting of new grades.

    Bah...still lame.

Honestly, I never actually noticed that before. I've used that service level more than a dozen times and I've always gotten my grades in 5 days or less. Boo is right though, I'll probably still feel that crushing blow. lol

I've gotten some of my best grades on subs that took longer than usual...Maybe the "good grader" takes longer reviewing the cards..I would wait extra time to be in his line!

The in and out graders kill me...

Not that big of a deal really, just irritates me. I was so happy it was checked in fast (after waiting 3 weeks on my last sub) and I'm still waiting for the grades on that one. I have another 6 card and 4 card sub that should arrive there today. They are just a 4 card voucher from some miscuts from a sub about 6 months ago and then my 6 freebies. Nothing fancy, but be nice to get back before the end of the month.

The sub I was expecting the grades on yesterday is a 3 card 1965 Topps football sub. The Willie Brown is kind of a piece of garbage, but I had it and I still need it...stupid thing rarely comes up for auction so I'll take my 4MC I'm probably going to get for now I suppose. The other two, Ben Davidson and Walt Sweeney, should be 7's.

Well my whining seems to have worked. The Good Grader of the North didn't smile on me, though I have to admit, I'm surprised the Brown got a 5, especially considering the other two managed a 6. They both made the Brown look like absolute crap and are as nice as the psa 7's I already have. I knew the Brown was an MC, there was no questioning that. I am a little bummed about the other two though, I thought they were nicer than that. Nice to finally see some grades though! image
