64 or 65. Nice! I still need to find a nice example of this type. I keep looking for a nice toned one, but every one I see is bright white.

Figured this was one nice lookin' coin for a 62, in fact I think it has a leg up on the 63 I have...

Where's the "if it doesn't fit you must resubmit" pic?? image

62 my a$$ (unless the pictures are hiding a whole bunch of hairlines I don't see). I'll take 62s that look like that all day long.

I understand you frustration, CP, but it's a grading game with these, which, sadly, means dip/re-submit. I would settle for a nice AU50-AU58 with original skin myself.

Nice pick-up, clarkbar04. I agree that it has a shot at an upgrade.

The AU58s are still awesome looking. I wanted to buy a nice XF 1912 (rare!) from jeffone but I guess I can't do that anymore! image

I know there is a nice AU 1910 piece on ebay for $87 or best offer.

Update on this - finally got the coin, and you hit the nail on the head.

They are prevalent enough and not just isolated to one part of the coin, I'm surprised it got slabbed at all. Fortunately the seller has an excellent return policy.

I asked him if there were any distractions on this before I bid, and he said no, possibly didn't see them?

    Anyway, its going back.

No matter what the grade, it's a beautiful coin. One of my favorite crown sized coin designs of all.
