A congrats to DGF!!

Did some research on some past threads concerning the 1977 Topps BB set, since I have taken the plunge and found some very good information. In paticular was a post by DGF that gave in lengthy detail the idocincrocies of this set. It was a great read, though I collected this set as an 11 year old, one did not care that much on condition of our cards and this set does have it's issues. Thanks DGF for the info!!image

    Stingray,
Best of luck. Stick to the high-end examples! They're out there. I still collect the set, but I'm, not nearly as active anymore. Just a card here & there. PSA always had a hard time grading it. I would imagine they still do based on the MINT 9 & GEM 10 examples I've seen on eBay. The cards that were 8's and 9's five years ago are 9's & 10's today. Thanks for the props! You might want to check out Orlando's SMR magazine from last summer. They did an article on the set--I don't remember all of the content, but I know I spent awhile with the writer talking on the subject of my set and 77's in general.
    Best of luck again,
    dgf
