Generating a lot of interest... Bermuda 1793

Why would this coin attract a ton of watchers in the first 48 hours of its auction existence, especially given the grade?

I'll admit, I'm an absolute novice with this coin; the only rationale I can understand would be scarcity, yet my KM 18th century (2nd edition) doesn't seem to back it up with $$value. Have things changed?Bermuda 1793 penny

Yes, I learned that rather early on. But any ebay seller with a pulse can usually detect the subtle differences in response to their auctions over a period of time and ask questions pertaining to the coin. This was probably a heavily used coin, right? How many are still around in recognizable condition.? Not a big deal, just something that was laying around...image

Krause is way off on the real world prices on those. Good thing for sellers. There is a buyer in Bermuda that wins about 90% of the lower to middle grade pieces that are offered on eBay. He must be selling them to tourist for a bundel. I'll bet yours goes for over $150 and "soveriegn43" will be the winner. image

What he hasn't told you, is that half of the watchers is him and his alt IDs. image
