Sometimes, you just have to have a coin. The darkside is strong.

I bought this on teletrade (pics are teletrade) last night simply because I really loved the look of this coin. Am I crazy, or do I have Darkside fever? Or, am I going back to my roots of collecting what you like, above all?

You got the fever! But, have you checked this coin on eBay vis a vis completed auction prices?

  • How often do you see a 900-year commemorative of a truly significant event?

This commemorates the conquest of Britian by William in 1066.

There is another Channel Island coin [a 10-shilling from Guernsey IIRC] with William on one side and Elizabeth on the other.

It is also unusual in that it is 'diamond' shaped with rounded corners.
