Money order only? And the cert # doesn't come up as valid either (I see it as 01952688)...

Thats absolutely crap. "novelty card" doesnt sum it up that its a fake.

He's just hoping someone will not notice that its a fake.

  • Auction says it is a novelty card--don't know how this could exist and where ever it came from it should be destroyed. I'm guessing someone figured out a way to make up their own PSA slabs. Makes me wonder also if that is a hijacked account. Change the title of this thread to catch the moderators attention and hopefully someone at PSA will make sure that auction is history.

Next MONTH? So he's saying that if he wins, the best-case scenario is that he'll be paying for it two weeks after the auction ends?

I certainly hope that PSA steps in here, if for no other reason than to protect its brand. There are many, many issues here, and none of them are positive.

Do people really think that they'll get a real PSA 10 '52 Mantle for under $500? And I'm sure many legit sellers of this card are in Australia too....
  • It got pulled.

You never know what the mentality of the bidders is. Could be someone buying a PSA card for the first time, thinking they are getting a great deal...or a wife buying what she thinks is a card her husband will cherish. This was just one of those auctions that had to be stopped before someone, unsuspectingly or not, got hosed.
