Resealed Wax???

Has anyone here noticed these "one day" auctions for very high dollar vintage "raw" wax packs that look poorly resealed even by ebay standards? Of course, there are no refunds. If I didn't know better, I'd think this guy was from PA. Oh wait, he is! And check out the 2006 date on the digital photos to boot! Buyer Beware!

1967 Wax Pack?

Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.

Hopefully these things aren't fooling too many people any longer. Bidding got to "only" $162.50 and didn't meet the scammer's reserve. Good thing it didn't because a buyer would have likely received a pack of 5 "nice" EXMT-NM low-mid number commons with a few probably off center.

Unfortunately, he relisted and got a BIN of $225 for it already.

I feel bad for the person who bought the 41 Double Play set.

Meant nothing against the buyer...just having a little pity on someone paying so much for what is likely to be resealed commons.

And frankly, my belief is almost every GAI slabbed vintage pack contains the exact same type of cards!
