I might just lose my mind over my first negative feedback ever!!!

Is there a way to get this removed. At the very least I deserve to earn my first negative feedback. Any help would be appreciated as to what direction I can take with this.

SERENITY NOW!!!

  • Obviously he clicked the wrong button (or is very sarcastic)...

perhaps you can mutually agree to remove it

Perhaps you should slow down your shipping speed. Obviously your customers can't take your warp speed deliveries image

    hopefully he will remove it

i'm sorry, but i found that IMMENSELY hilarious! Email the guy and ask him what's up and if he'd consider a withdrawl. Kinda weird if it were a mistake because Ebay prompts you before you are about to leave a neg!!!!
  • I just filled out the mutual withdrawl form. The auction ended 5/1/07, I live in Chicago and this dude lives in Alaska, three days should be satisfactory time. If he's being sarcastic I might have to quit Ebay.
  • Mostly likely a mistake I am sure

  • Isn't positive always selected? Meaning the person had to actually click the radio button for negative. How long did you take to get it to him? I meant to send a neg to a seller and was so pissed I forgot to select negative button. So then I became more pissed.image

Had the same thing happen to me a couple of times. The trick is getting the other guy to fill out the mutual agreement form. My experience is that some people either don't care or can't follow the directions in the eBay letter they get.

So now I'm stuck with two negs that should have been positives...

Contact the guy and ask him why he left negative FB. He'll probably say it was a mistake.

eBay of course makes it difficult to find the place to do this so here's a link:

    Mutual Feedback Withdrawal Link

The catch-22 here is that I think you need to leave feedback for him too - pos or neg.
  • might as well neg him back ... might give him some incentive to withdraw

Dont sweat it, it wont effect your percentage, and any buyer who worries about it, isnt the kind of buyer you want.

1000: 1 PF to NF is fantastic. Unless your running an airline, thats pretty good.

  • The feedback did get withdrawn so I can calm down now.

I had a neg once that ended up costing me $20 to remove if I remember right.....dont' remember exactly what I had to do but it involved the feedback process and the only way they would remove it was if I send them the $$. And to top it off the person who neg'd me made a mistake and it was on one of the few non sport items I listed on ebay...pokemon card......al.

1 neg in over 1000 isn't a big deal anyway.
