How about a 1780 Bolivia-Potosi mint piece in Fine? The previous seller had it as a VF, which is the way I bought it, but I disagree.

3rd Edition Krause says $60 in Fine, but I would sell this piece for $50. It has seen some cleaning.

I would call the coin F15, personally.

You know how my scanner always washes out the luster on UNC coins, and I often complain of that? Well, on this somewhat-shiny cleaned piece, it worked to my advantage, and the coin scanned very well. (See? I don't always say "coin is nicer than scan"!)

This coin is a tad shinier in hand, which is not necessarily a good thing, but I think you will be satisfied with it. It was clearly cleaned but is not unattractive. I think it is worth the money. Of course, if you do not like it, send it on back and I will refund your money plus return shipping cost.

The Potosi mintmark is kind of neat- I like the way those superimposed letters look. I have a 1783 Potosi 4-reales piece on my Holey Coin Vest, which was dug by a detecting friend of mine, near St. Augustine, FL.

Thank you, I'll have no complaint's....... You really came thru on short notice. This is a gift for my son-in-law, Who has had his eye on mine for some time. I've posted mine before it's the one i call Chop-Suey, it has 31 chopmark's on each side, and i'm kind of partial to it, I like the one i'm getting from you. and i'd much rather keep it myself.

I told Chad the story of LordMarcovan and showed him your picture of the "Holey hat" and "Holey Vest" needless to say he was quite impressed, Say's your really cool, I told him he doesn't know the half of it.
