What is your definition??

What do you consider a low population card?? I see people use this term for their Ebay sales and I would like to know what do you consider a low population card. Would you base is on the year of the card or not. If someone has a 1972 PSA 9 card it is a pop of 15, would that be a low pop card??

Ya gotta compare the number of something.

    Like if it is a pop 15 and there's 10,000 8s e.g. - then yes.

Ya gotta look at the entire population IMO to say whether low or not?

I agree with Mike. Although, for vintage, anything under pop 10 or less in high grade (8,9,10) is pretty impressive. Now my pop 1 PSA 6 1986 Karl Mecklenburg...Well, it's low pop alright. image

All supply and demand. Low pop probably doesnt matter if it is a 1988 Topps Doug DeCinces.
