Saw video of it on the news this morning.

Chances are, that'll make the Unusual World Coins volume instead of Krause. (I just ordered a copy of the former).

Pardon me, sir, but do you have change for a manhole cover?

Come to think of it, if a big heavy cast iron manhole cover is almost impossible to lift, imagine what a piece of gold that size must be like.

Oh, you DO have change? Great. Where would you like my forklift driver to leave the coin?

I CAN make change for that, but it would be in 1923 German Marks!image

Whoever buys that first one, can they submit it to PCGS and get a "First Strike" designation on the slab?

Seriously though, a coin like that would have to be cast then milled I would think. If not, I would love to see the dies.

I'll take four, please. Been needing new tires for my car.

Next buyer gets #4, and not even NGC slabs "Fourth Castings". image
