April Turnaround

Has anybody gotten grades back from the April special? Does anybody know the estimated timeline for these submissions? I have never sent anything in with a varied turnaround time before. The anticipation is eating at me.

    I mailed my March special on 3/30. logged on 4/11 and grades posted 5/2.

    It was a 206 card sub ranging from 1971 to 1984.

    What does N0 mean anyway? The cards that got them are in the set compositions of the Nolan Ryan sets. And the "Not Holdered" card was a 1986 Topps Tattoo which is also in the set composition. What gives?!?!?

    N0 usually means it gets slabbed and is graded as "authentic"

    Justin, sometimes PSA stops grading a card for some reason. Happened to me with a 1972 topps cloth test clemente. There's one in the registry but you can't get one graded now. That might be what happened with your card.

    Today is business day 45. I know it says that turnaround time varies with demand. I'm guessing that means that I won't be getting any free subs no matter how long it takes. Should I call if I don't get grades today, or may that have some negative ramifications?

    it sucks but that is PSA's policy. there is more than just grading tohat goes into each order so they take different amounts of time. If you send in 100 random oddball cards , you should already know you are going to wait and it will take longer than the order of 50 1984 topps cards. I think there are more threads in here about turnaround times than about cards themselves. can we please move on .......

    No--because this have everything to do with a company that listed as a stock company. Companies go up and down in value based on QC and QM. If you ever read a Wall Street newspaper, they give a rating for Mgt. As i don't have access to the score, it would be interesting if anyone here that has invested knows.

    The above logic (pack collector) is pathetic. Regardless of the time it takes to grade an order, they should be graded in the order received. Let's say I am mowing lawns for three customers. Customer A has a small yard. Customer B has a small yard but is overgrown. Customer C has a larger yard that is overgrown. If start a time X and begin mowing (assume each customer is paying the same general rate for the work), it does not matter which yard I do first in terms of when I get finished with mowing. I might want to mow the most difficult project first in order to make work easier down the road.

    PSA utilizes horrific business practices.

    they should be but they are not, that is reality. why keep b$tching . obviously this is not the place to b$tch. If you want to b$tch , there are plenty of places to b$tch that may actually accomplish something. I have 3 orders out there forever too . If I wanted them to be guaranteed back I would have paid, since I didn't as long as they are done as stated I don't really have a gripe.

    I am finding it pointless to come on these boards and read the threads and add any input when there are more threads about , PSA sucks why don't I have my grades than there are about cards.
