Ugliest jump shot in basketball history

I think it has to be a tie between Shawn Marion and Bill Cartwright. Cartwright, I might could understand, but Marion - he's such a great athelete, you would think he could work on that form just a little bit.

Discuss.

Cartwright's jump shot was ugly, no doubt. I have not noticed Shawn Marion's shot (will have to check out a Suns playoff game to look at it).

Jamal Wilkes (of UCLA, Warriors and Lakers fame) had a funky looking jump shot (shooting arm had the elbow not underneath the wrist and ball but, instead it was stuck out to the side) but it was smooth and it went in (ergo his nickname "Silk").

Cartright's free throws were even uglier.

But we all know Shaq's FTs are the most hideous in NBA history.

Currently Shawn Marions shot is defintely one of the most unorthodox shots Ive ever seen. Some may consider it ugly but it sure looks good going thru the net which it does more often than not.
  • Its only ugly if it misses image
  • Cubfan...you have a point. Bird didn't have the prettiest shot, but he made it work.

I would vote for Cartwright though
