Yeah, I agree with you. They must really have some catching up to do.

I'm sure this "special" was intended to allow them to catch up since most submitters wont jump on this one so hard.

Your absolutely right, but given the choice between being completely swamped with work or not asking in a sense for more submissions, I'm going with the former every single time.

Just sad that PSA doesn't have anyone capable of implementing any good marketing strategy. Their only salvation is the Registry.

I was actually excited for the ticket special....until I read the part about a 10 ticket minimum, not sure I can fill it, and even at that, $5 off per ticket isn't much of a special.

    Good day All,
One of the the specials I see on the Internet site I pull up shows a Non Sport Special 20 card minimum $5 per card $75 max value. I called because I have never seen a special like this (No Years Specified) and spoke to Jessica and she told me that this is true. Any Non Sport, Any Year $5.00. Yahoo !!!! I have 100's and 100's of 1940's 1950's and 1960's that are being packaged and sent today before they change their minds. This is the best special I'Ve seen in the last 5 years !!!!
    Neil
Actually Collect Non Sport, but am just so full of myself I post all over the place !!!!!!!

I would guess this non-sport special would be good for all of the early 20th century cigarette cards too. I have a couple sets of actors and actresses that I might get graded now.

    Collecting:

    - Post War baseball HOF RC's
    - 1980's unopened baseball
    - All Mutoscope and American Beauties

Neil.....Where is the non-sport special listed?? I cannot find it anywhere. If that really is one of them, I need to put an order together. Got some old Batman and Planet of the Apes as well as early '60's Beatles cards!

Just go to the main page and click on message boards. It should show up in the bottom left. At least that is where I saw it.

jj ... do you think we could slide in some Mutoscpe cards on this special? Or would I still need to use the other bulk service for them?

I think a 200 card min. stinks! I would send in about 50 Griffeys for the SGC 5.00 special but not 200. Talk about not wanting any business.

Yeah I thought that 200 was a little high but you never know what they might say if you call and ask.

Their customer service is tops in the industry and they might work out a deal.....
