Seller #2 is stupid. He won't be around long. image
In fact, he's done.

This is just ONE reason you'd best pay attention on eBay.

Wow. The idiot even left the link to the original sellers auctions. I imagine this one will be removed rather quickly.

I'm about to bid his ace up too and report him for the other stuff that he is vending and does not have and when he doesn't get paid, TOO BAD!

I've alerted eBay AND the legitimate owner(s) and made it clear that THEY have to report him.

Now the fur is going to fly. His future doesn't look so hot. Nobody breathe a word to this guy.

He's going to get nabbed before he knows what hits him as long as you ALL keep your mouths shut! image

LOL, if you do a search for "1926 d standing liberty" the two coins come up one after the other, phony and real. Obvious if anyone were to search for that date and mint.
Witty sig line currently under construction. Thank you for your patience.

I have little patience for natural selection too. We should have lost those types in the Stone Age.

Sellers really ought to watermark their images with their ebay id or some identifying text. That would certainly be a deterrent.

The scammer doesn't have to be smart, he only has to be not as stupid as someone who might bid and pay for an item in an scam listing.

New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

Kranky. I bid on purpose after alerting the owner & eBay.

I also told eBay what I was going to do.

This was easy and it didn't take long either.

Some people are just flat out stupid.
