Has there been a report of a Sacagawea with a lettered edge yet?

I saw something that PCGS is offering $10K to the person that slabs the first one at PCGS. Do they have a bunch already and are trying to make them the next 1913 Lib?

I don't believe they've begun striking the 2007 Sacagaweas yet; I thought they had to wait until the Prez Buck production was complete to determine how many the law required them to manufacture.

  • they actually have been striking the sacs for 2007... already on ebay certified and all.

i have not heard of any finds yet on the edge lettering sacs though.

I haven't found one yet. I've sold a few sets (P&D on obverse) on ebay from U.S. Mint Rolls and as I put them in the 2x2 I look at the edge. So far, all are smooth. They're available for purchase at the U.S. Mint. I wish you all good hunting image

I don't think it would be easy to fake,
but I do know it would be easy to tell.....

They did a few million of each for the roll and bag sales.
No rumors of a lettered one yet.
