mils? Are they considered coins by anyone?

I have a lot of these and some are paper but some are metal. I know they were used to pay taxes and are 1/10 of a cent

They are considered to be tokens, not coins.

  • Thanks! I thought that but just was not sure. We have a few other tokens too! I think chucky cheese has a lot of them out there. Do you suppose they can be used some place else? image

A Half Cent could be considered as a Five Mill coin, but I don't think they were ever referred to that way.
