First you have to have them graded by PCGS at $14 each. Then they are worth $250.

    I find it interesting that:
    1) The values of low graded coins are even listed
    2) Why did PCGS list it under the Sacagawea series? Perhaps it is just a placeholder for now.
    3) The huge 25% drop in value for the no edge lettering variety -

All the dollars out of the roll are better than MS60. So $10 for an MS60, in a PCGS holder, means $9 is for plastic. It's funny how PCGS values their plastic at 9 times the value of the coin inside it. The PCGS plastic and grading fee should never be worked into the book value of a coin, imo.

PCGS has always been very negative towards the Cheerios dollar. I think it goes back to the fact that NGC got a lot of publicity out of doing the first few.

Not to get off topic because I have a Cheerios Sacagawea, but... we are on Prez bucks.

So with that in mind ....Good luck finding MS 65+ GW dollars. I'll bet 80% of the three hundred million minted will be MS64 or less. These coins nowadays are a tough find in high grade. The price guide may be a little bit out of whack in some areas but with the Presidentials, I think few will make 66 or above as it correlates to the amount minted.
...now back to the Cheerios, thanks to PCGS I have a photograph. Speaking of cherrypicking.... this is what you want to find on the 2000 P reverse. If you find it, you score !!!

Thanks for the derailment Tom and Mitch image.

The Pop reports show that of the First Day of Issue totals, 22% graded higher than MS65 for the P's and 23% graded higher for the D's with 13 MS67's for P's and 3 MS67's for the D's.

Of the regular submissions, 17% for the P's and 11% for the D's with zero at MS67.

MS66's are going to be hard to get with MS67's nearly impossible. I'm quite certain that some of the MS66's could qualify for down grades from what I have seen.

Edited to add: I'm not sure about the prices being displayed but I sure wish I could get $80 for my 66-D FDOI's

Just the grading fee for non bulk submissions on 25 coins is $450. So if you want to personally get them graded I am sure you could find a buyer for $240. image

Why are they including them with the Sackies? Prexybucks should get their own category, I would think.

They are probably just there temporarily until they make up a new table for the pres dollars. There aren't any 2007 sacs listed there yet.

And yes, this is a thread about the online price guide for the pres dollars. I can't remember where I saw the numbers, but I seem to remember that MS64 and MS65 had the highest numbers of coins graded.

What about the MS64 pop? What numbers is it showing currently?
