    I just went to baseball-reference.com and looked up all the triples by year, then clicked on each guy's name to see his career stats.

    yeah, it is a great question ~ and I'm blown away it was post-war!

    Funny thing is that if you look up Callisons numbers you notice that 65% of his 16Y career doubles came in those 5 years... He also increased his HR from 9 to 23 to 31 and his overall SLG went from .410ish to .500ish.
