Month ends with a large silver. Woo hoo!

This weekend was my last chance to try and bump my silver count this month.
Did a quick hunt on Saturday but found nothing at all.
Today, Sunday, I found only two coins in total, but one of them certainly made up for the low number...
Got a great signal, but it was hard to figure out the exact spot, as some bushes were blocking my coil.
It was quite shallow (only 3 inches), so I didn't have too much hope...
Immediately when I cut the plug I saw a thick reeded edge!
Silver! And big silver this time!
Swedish 2 Kronor 1880 (KM# 742)
This is a fairly tough date too, with a mintage of 128,000 pieces. Certainly one of my best coins as far as value is concerned.
This is a large and heavy coin (15 grams. For comparison, a US seated/barber half dollar is 12.5g)
Happy hunting!

It seems that you and I and a couple more here had been in contention all month.
I found two more silver today which bring my total to 9, my final count.
G.
You suck, majorly.
I have only done that once...ever. With the coin you used as a comparison, actually- a Barber half dollar.
Man, I can only imagine the adrenaline rush that must've been. The sight of that coming out of the ground must have really packed a whallop. Too bad we don't have action pics or your usual photographic tour with the requisite critter pic.
Awesome!
HKnJ: You've got me beat. This was #8 for me, and that's my final number.
Loditom should be up there too.... Will be interesting to see who eventually gets away with this month's award
