ID Help, please.

Picked-up these two pieces in a box of minor silvers. The bottom one is extremely lustrous, which didn't quite come through in the images.

Please help image

Thanks in advance.

I believe that they're from Nepal...what's their diameter?

The top one is a Gaden Tangka Coin from Tibet. There are no dates on them but they were minted late 19th to early 20th century. Check Y# C13.2 and Y# D13.3.

Edited to add: I believe Bill is correct on the bottom one being Nepalese

Thanks, guys. The top one is 28mm, weighing 4.96g. The bottom piece is 26mm, weighing 5.48g.

What's the date range on the bottom piece?

The bottom one looks like one from the reign of King Prithvi 1881-1911.

The Ga-den Tanka looks like Y#13.4 in my 31st ed. Krause. Date is ca. 1912-1922. $32 in EF.

My best guess at the Nepalese coin is a Silver Mohar KM#651.1, SE1824 (AD 1902), $8 in EF.

That's one nice looking tanka! image

I knew I had the right country and type but I currently only have the 5th edition Krause 1801-1900.
