As Ronald RAYGUN once said, "Well..........there you go again!"
It's dumb enough I am doing the 68 and 69 sets, now the 1971 OPC bb set!
I will say, I have noted that this set is NOT quite as easy as I used to
think it was!
Anyone else working on this set ?

That's one tough set for sure... my Boys and I have our hands full working on raw 1978-1982 Topps Baseball sets, but we do have one really nice card for you (if you need it)... #203 Larry Gura Cubs.
Just let us know and we'll mail it out to you... good luck!

Yeah, as he (texas) paid $1,200 for my 71' OPC Carew in a PSA 10.
I remember owning a 71 OPC Carew PSA 10. That one
and a bunch of other stuff I sold at one time to finance
some home projects!
In any case, I already have a good start, and, if it doesn't
work out, I am sure someone would "BAIL" me out of
the ones I have!
A few months ago, I bought a little stash of them locally
and sent a bunch in for grading. Very tough to get 8's on
these, for sure.
Of course, I just made the PSA 8 Johnny Bench that I
just recently purchased, and a few other minors. I currently
have over 200 singles graded, most of them are 7's. But
some good cards in PSA 8's as well.
We'll see what happens. Here goes my daughters college funds! LOL

I wish it was mine---I have owned two of the PSA 8's. I had a deal to buy the PSA 10 from, i think, Kruk Cards in 05'.When my funds fell short of it happening, "Texas" stepped in and bought it. I have personally seen the card. It is a real stunner!!
and some pop 1's that I purchased in a little group a few months ago.
