Boy I wish I could afford these 1996/1997 Finest (B/S/G) sets... :(

1996 Finest Bronze/Silver/Gold set
1997 Finest Bronze/Silver/Gold set

And then I just found out he's also selling the 1996 Fleer Tiffany set (both regular and update) too. Wow, this guy is pretty loaded with super rare modern sets, isn't he?

But, we just don't have the money to get the above sets, so that's that. I just hope whoever wins one gets both; if the bronze sets are any indication, these (along with the silver and gold) are FANTASTIC sets to own.

    Those are nice sets Estil.

My only complaint about these cards - sometimes they can have a ton of very tiny scratches.

I don't remember which years had the protective covering but I just couldn't see keeping the cover on - since ya can't really see the card.

BTW, there's a ton of stuff I want and just can't seem to find any money?

Well, these sets found themselves homes, and unfortunately it's not mine image Oh well, I'll get my chance someday (I hope), and I do already have the bronze sets.

170 a piece is a pretty good price. Do you know how many boxes one would have to open to just complete the gold series?? Quite a few and if you can find them would be well over 170. I don remember but if these were both series 1 and 2 then its a real steal. Because you would have to open probably 10 boxes of each series. Estil, you should have bite the bullet on those sets. You should start saving some rainy day money for when you see those.

You better believe these were a steal, as these sets each book for about $1000. At this point I'd be thrilled just to get the silver sets. And if I did have $350 just sitting around, I probably would've already spent it on the nicest 1974 Topps set I could find. But then again, how many 1974 Topps sets do you see on Ebay compared to how many 1996/1997 Finest silver and/or gold sets?
