I am thinking back in the 70's, but the first one's contained PVC.

I firmly believe in numismatics as the world's greatest hobby, but recognize that this is a luxury and without collectors, we can all spend/melt our collections/inventories.

ummmmmmm, maybe the 30's? I've got some long before 1960 but I couldn't tell you exactly
when they started. Not sure about that PVC either as mine are normal with no green pvc gunk.
