Great reverses on both coins, the 1881 rev is poping. Now the obverse....I'm sorry I don't like either obv all that much in the pics you show. Wow the 1881 has some major fingerprintings going on.
Too bad the prints on the obverse detract so badly. I'd have that holdered reverse up if it isn't already. >>
Nah, I'd rather leave the coin in an OGH than have it reholdered... I suppose I could crack out and resubmit hoping for a 1-point bump. With my luck though, given PCGS's pullback at the moment, it probably would be bodybagged for questionable color. I've given up trying to predict PCGS's or NGC's (lack of) consistency with what they consider NT, market acceptable AT, and bodybagged AT.
<< <i>Nice toners. I'm thinking these were not too expensive? Maybe better than spending dough on eBay?
Brian >>
I guess it all depends on what you're looking for. Those dollars referenced on Teletrade were $380 each after juice.
The coins I've been posting over the last few weeks have primarily been in the $35-80 range. Sure, the ones I've been posting have been primarily 63s and 64s rather than 65s. But when I can buy 5-6 interesting toners for the price of one of the above, I choose the former approach.
(Please don't get me wrong: I'm not disparaging the TT coins shown above; I think they're quite attractive. However, as long as I can find toners that interest me at a considerably lower price, that's the way I choose to collect... others will choose differently)

Best to leave as is IMO.
