I started a PCGS showcase registry for fun and to make a point... coin collecting and specifically, world collecting, does not have to be expensive to be fun.
This showcase features a whopping 3 coins, a 1949 Canadian Dollar graded MS65, A 1920 French Franc graded MS65 and an 1887 GB 6d graded MS66. Including fees, these coins were under $99. My point is that they are attractive, well designed coins and were not too expensive. I will add others as time progresses.
Perhaps some folks here would consider sharing some of their favorites and create a showcase that could promote the fun of collecting... just a thought.
