Ironically, I didn't phrase that well. Sometimes you go down the list of threads available to read, looking over the titles and/or authors, and see the ones that you think would be interesting. Some of them I just don't click on for various reasons.
So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts

Steve, Im curious to know how you determine a thread to be uninteresting based on the author of it. Maybe I am misunderstanding your post with the way you wrote "and/or authors". It sounds like you wont open a post based soley on a member you find to be "uninteresting".
I myself have skipped over posts that are totally meaningless to the forum, (based on the title) but I have never deliberately ignored a post that might be of interest because of the author.
Maybe I took it in the wrong context, if so, my apologies in advance!
Good call downtown. Say rbdjr blew the lid off of a huge conspiracy to assassinate the President on these boards, yet used "u" instead of "you", would that make for uninteresting reading?

There have been some posters here over the past few years that have gotten banned for a variety of reasons. I'm forgetting most of the names now but I do recall a "RichG" or something like that recently that no one wanted to read anymore. Most of the forums outside of CU have an "Ignore" feature which has become very popular. I'm sure it would be used here, whether some ignoring me or perhaps Dav ignoring pandrews or whomever it was that DaBigHurt didn't like.

I've always wondered about that. Where is that from?

<< <i>Please, type "You" instead of "U". This isn't text messaging and it would make your threads more interest in reading. Thanks. >>
Steve,
I've corrected the last few postings and "bammed all my u's"! I'm quite sure that posting a "u" instead of "you" is annoying for someone who is doing a text message!
No more u's! I'm sure that some of the "bashers" here (well, I'll at least, include myself!), have never text messaged. Sorry!
