British Virgin Islands Giant!

Will try to find a link but there is now on "the bay" a BVI FIVE KILO silver coin with starting bid of 3299! I believe that there was a 2006 Australia Year of the Dog SIX KILO coin - has anyone seen this one as the record (I think) prior to this was the IOM 4 Kilo QE I 400th year commemorative?

Yes, I think in the Canada case that it is a machined (as opposed to struck) large hunk of gold rumored by some to be of $1 Million face value.

The silver used to be fun to get, that a kilo "Kook" was about 275 USD or so, but bullion values rising have caused them to more than double. 3299 for 160 oz. is just over 20 USD per ounce which seems a bit high, but that might just be me.

The description says uncirculated. I prefer to collect circulated examples.

Well, maybe they use them to buy real estate in BVI and use a truck to drive them around in (11 pounds a piece)! Watch out Yap Islanders, soon to come are silver coins bigger than your stone ones!
