Wrong Mintage number (honest mistake?)

RarityRarity Posts: 1,445 ✭✭✭✭
Link attached shows a very nice coin but the seller misinformed the public by providing incorrect information.

He stated "only 7,261 coins made" but in reality this proof coin has a mintage of more than 20,000.

Probably an honest mistake. He just picked up the BU mintage. Drop him a friendly note and see if he fixes it.

Good idea. I should drop him a note with the correct mintage

Edit to add: I sent him a note with correct mintage of 27,167.
  • Kudos in advance on the good work!

My source shows 6,683 for the BU and 27,167 for the proof. Perhaps he just left off the first digit.
