Card shops in Cincinnati

Wow- I did a search of card shops here in the Cincinnati area and we have a lot! For a mid sized city this area has a lot of card shops. My favorite shop is Ideal sports cards on Glenway avenue. The owner Mike is a nice guy and is always willing to deal. He has always treated me right. I almost bought this shop from his dad Werner in 1993/94 before the strike/beaniebabie/pogs fiasco. Actually I should have cause they sell lottery tickets too LOL Oh well. Mike has a lot of walk in traffic with people selling their stuff and if you are looking for bulk deals this is a good place to find inventory. I do flea markets sometimes and I can flip stuff that Mike sells me...aka 1991 Score Factory for 5! 1988 Topps Traded set for a buck! Let me know of other shops here in the tristate that you like. metalmike - I am a relative newcomer to the Cincinnati area(2yrs) and and have visited the shop on Glenway and agree with your assessment.

Where were some of the other shops that you located in the area?

Baseball Card Corner (I-275 and Montgomery Road) is definitely one of the best. Also, just south of there on Montgomery Road, is Sports Investments Inc. (Steve Wolter's shop). Very friendly, fairly priced, and a lot of neat stuff. Here's a link:

Edited to add: Ideal Cards is also a very good card shop. I purchased a lot of stuff from Mike in the very early '90s. Haven't been in recently--shop is hard to get to unless you're comfortable with the west side.
