How'd I do? (large pics)

I went shopping today.

All the stuff below was in an out of the way dusty cabinet in my local coin shop. They don't deal in world coins much at all.

The quality of the scans is not great do to a dirty platen glass on my scanner. The coins however, are gorgeous. The first two coins are rather large, measuring 50mm (2") diameter and each contains 750 grains (1.76 oz) Sterling silver. The details on the ship and portrait are exquisite, you just can't see them due to the frost reflecting the scanner light. The only problem I can see with either of these is the second one has a dark spot (carbon or toning?) at 3:00 on the reverse. I also picked up an unknown date mint set of Iran (4 coins) but the packaging didn't let them scan well so I'll have to free them from their prison and try again.

Not bad for spending a total of $80 out the door eh? image
