Kid with a New toy WARNING big pics......

I like Sony camers, I'm too cheap to buy the SLR and probably would not be able to use it correctly anyway.....so the research started, how can I take better pics of little things (coins) with my Point and Shoot Sony DSC W-7. Its not an expensive camera maybe 200 bucks.

I found a web site that sells an addapter that goes from 36mm to 52mm (Thread size) and bought it, then bought a set of Macro lenses. after reading the book 10 more times, I think I got it.....

take a look at the pics and give me some pointers.......

Pics are a little dark on my screen. May want to bump up the exposure compensation a little (if the camera has it).

I did not read all the posts yet. So it may have been attributed by someone . It's a nice coin and is not a variety that I am familiar with.
I am not as well versed on Large cent varieties as I am on the modern issues. Please check with an expert on that one. The condition is outstanding and the variety has to be significant.

    Have Fun,
