Looking for melt on a Hamburg Gold 20 Mark

Thanks,

Prost!

Why step over the dollar to get to the cent? Because it's a 55DDO.

My online krause didn't give any info for a hamburg 20 mark but all the other german states 20 marks listed are .2305 oz agw.
MS66 taste on an MS63 budget.

Most of the Hamburg 20 Mark coins are worth more than melt unless really beat to death. Only one year of type III (large eagle) had more than a million minted (1,002,000) with most about a half million. Type II (small eagle) had 3 years with over a million. The Hamburg design is one of my all time favorite designs of any of the German state coins minted.

BTW 7.965 g. .900 gold (.2304 AGW). Are you buying or selling?
